Photo Journal | An Evening of Chocolate and Wine

Jacki and I were thrilled to be able to attend An Evening of Chocolate and Wine hosted by the Boston Chocolate School. Chocolate and wine?! Done and done. Here are some of the photo highlights of the night:

The beautiful and very Back Bay setting of the event at the College Club.

“The World’s Best Chocolate” in the opinion of the resident connoisseur.

Wine pairings got progressively darker and heavier with the chocolate.

Venezuelan chocolate brand, El Rey, was chosen for 5 of the 6 pairings.

A sparkling “off-dry” white wine called Moscato D’asti from the Piedmont region of Italy proved to be an excellent pairing with white chocolate, adding a slightl bitterness that balanced the sweetness of the chocolate.
