Food Porn Friday | Craquelin | Brioche’s Sugar-Covered Cousin

Another favorite of mine from my lady friends over at Treats on Washington, this Craquelin tastes better than it looks (if that’s even possible). For those of you who don’t know, Craquelin is Brioche’s sugar-covered cousin, that is to say it is essentially brioche smothered in citrus-marinated sugar cubes. In this case, the buns have been studded with sugar cubes and topped with an orange blossom glaze. Giving them more shine than Kate Middleton’s wedding ring, they’re enough to make a girls heart melt. Or at least a girl with a serious sweet-tooth… aka me.
