Food Porn Friday | Lobstah Roll from Kelly’s

If you’re from the New England area then you’ve undoubtedly heard of Kelly’s Roast Beef. We’ve got a make shift one close by in Brighton, but if you want the real deal you’ve got to head to the original location out on Revere Beach.  While Kelly’s may be best known, well, for it’s Roast Beef DUH, that’s not their only claim to fame. Have you ever tried their Lobster Roll?

Overlfowing with the meat from two 1 lb lobsters, tossed lightly with mayo and served sans celery which is always my favorite, I could barely fit this thing in my mouth!  Nor did I manage to eat it without looking like a complete slob but I couldn’t have cared less.  It puts the itty bitty offerings from Leagls and Tia’s to shame. And since it’s sort of tough to pick favorites after looking at the menu (since everything looks phenomenal and really how often do you find yourself in Revere?), their surf and turf selection (which comes with a quarter-pound roast beef sandwich and a lobster roll) lets you enjoy the best of both worlds so you can have your lobstah roll and eat ya roast beef too!
