Food Porn Friday | Cider Donuts from Wilson Farm

Tis the season for a lot of things, one of which is DONUTS! Cider donuts to be more specific. Last weekend, while on a 17 mile culinary bike ride — that ultimately turned into a 35 mile bike ride — I had the opportunity to check out the scenery in Lexington, Arlington and Lincoln while experiencing some new noms. You’ll be hearing more about that adventure later, but for today we feature the Cider Donuts at Wilson Farm in Lexington. Sure there are boxes upon boxes filled with six packs of these sugar-covered cuties but if you’re willing to wait approximately 3 minutes (on a good day) you can get as many as you want coming fresh out of the fryer and rolled in cinnamon and sugar right on the spot. Hot, fluffy and undeniably irresistable it’s hard to pass them up. So i didn’t.
