Food Porn Friday | Burrata | Oak Long Bar + Kitchen

burrata

As we said last week…’tis the season for tomatoes. And you know what that means: MOZZ. And lots of it. Burrata, mozz’s creamy little sister is not only a favorite, it’s a fetish. As a JAC reader you may already know my love for burrata runs deep, I eat it and order it every chance I get. Which is exactly why this was the first dish to grab my attention when I took a look at Oak Long Bar + Kitchen‘s menu: Maplebrook Farms Burrata with sweet cherry tomatoes and pumpkin seed oil. It was like a large english muffin, only made of creamy cheese, with balsamic in the nooks and crannies. If I could magically change every english muffin in the world to be like this one, I would.

Happy Friday! Eat that mozz.

Bonus points for Oak Long Bar + Kitchen: they have a loveseat barstool! (Just like Casa B)

  1. Megan says:

Love the loveseat bar stool. And that burrata sounds amazing! I need to check this place out.

  2. That bar stool is sweet! And man do I love myself some creamy burrata!

  3. I love burrata too! If you ever get the chance to try Tomasso Trattoria in Southboro, MA, they have some of the best burrata I’ve ever had. Their menu rotates but most of the time they have a burrata special available in the evenings.

Also, the loveseat barstool is awesome and I will definitely be trying Oak Long Bar + Kitchen in the near future.
